Vision, Prayer & Action Boards | Designing a Life of Purpose & Fulfillment. Year 2026

Happy New Year 2026 🎉A new year is not just about excitement—it’s about intention.Today I want to show you three powerful boards you can create that will help you move toward your goals, your purpose, and a deeply fulfilling life. This is not about wishful thinking. It’s about clarity, alignment, faith, and action.

I want to introduce you to three boards that work together:

  • A Vision Board
  • A Prayer Board
  • An Action Board

When vision, prayer, and action align—you stop drifting and start moving with purpose.

  • Vision gives direction
  • Prayer gives alignment
  • Action gives momentum

BOARD 1: THE VISION BOARD (Clarity & Direction)

What This Board Is For

Your Vision Board answers the question:

‘What kind of life am I intentionally creating?’

This is the picture of your future, not pressure but possibility.

What to Put on Your Vision Board

1. Life Categories to Consider

Choose what resonates with you:

  • Faith & spiritual growth
  • Mental & emotional health
  • Family & relationships
  • Career / calling / impact
  • Finances & stewardship
  • Health & body
  • Rest, joy & lifestyle

2. What to Write or Add

• Words that describe how you want to feel in 2026(peaceful, focused, disciplined, joyful, confident, fulfilled)

• Images that reflect the life atmosphere you want

• Short statements, not long paragraphs

Example :

  • “A calm, anchored mind”
  • “Purposeful work”
  • “Strong family rhythms”

3. Things to Consider

  • This is not comparison
  • This is not about timelines
  • This is about alignment

“Your vision should stretch you—but it should also feel like peace, not pressure.”

BOARD 2: THE PRAYER BOARD (Alignment & Surrender)

What This Board Is For

Your Prayer Board is where you move from ‘my plans’ to ‘God’s direction.

’ This is where vision meets faith and surrender.

What to Put on Your Prayer Board

1. Prayers Over Your Vision

Words you can use:

  • “God, align my desires with Your will.”
  • “Show me what to pursue and what to release.”
  • “Give me wisdom for every decision this year.”

2. Scriptures or Faith Anchors

Examples :

• Verses about guidance, peace, obedience, growth

Words like:

  • Trust
  • Obedience
  • Discernment
  • Grace
  • Courage

3. Surrender Statements

This is powerful:

  • “I release what I cannot control.”
  • “I trust God with the outcome.”
  • “I am open to redirection.”

“Prayer keeps your vision from becoming self-driven and your year from becoming heavy.”

BOARD 3: THE ACTION BOARD (Execution & Consistency)

What This Board Is For

Your Action Board answers the question:

‘ What am I actually committing to do?’

This is where dreams stop floating—and start moving.

What to Put on Your Action Board

1. Key Focus Areas (3–5 max)

Examples:

  • Mental health habits
  • Daily spiritual practices
  • Work or business goals
  • Family rhythms
  • Health routines

2. Simple, Doable Actions

Let them be small and sustainable:

  • “Morning prayer & reflection – 10 minutes”
  • “Weekly planning session”
  • “Movement 3x a week”
  • “One courageous conversation per month”

3. Boundaries & Non-Negotiables

This is gold:

  • What you will say no to
  • What you will protect
  • What you will stop

“Consistency beats intensity—every single time.”

HOW THE THREE BOARDS WORK TOGETHER

• Vision Board → Where am I going?

• Prayer Board → Who am I becoming & who am I trusting?

• Action Board → What am I doing daily to get there?

When these three align, you don’t just set goals—you build a purposeful life.

As you step into 2026, my prayer for you is this:That your year is not rushed, not reactive but rather intentional. Creating these three boards is a powerful start — but transformation deepens when you’re guided through the process with intention and accountability.

If you’d like support, I facilitate Vision–Prayer–Action workshops and 1:1 sessions.
